I'm sorry it's taken me so long to figure out who's doing what!

I know that a number of people have been ready and willing to do the solos, but you want to know for sure so that you can psych yourself up and memorize your part as much as possible (or not...).

Soloists should look at the audience as much as possible (while also continuing to watch me) so memorizing your words is best so that you avoid looking down at your music.

It is very important for you to be there next Monday so that the sound technician can hear you to prepare the mic properly. You don't have to be there early, though. We'll do your sound check during the song.

Hallelujah: 1. Todd, 2. Lauren for the program! And,1. Rob, 2. Roxanne for the encore!

Song for the Mira: 1,3, 6 NIcole and 2, 4 Joanne!

Where the Coho Flash Silver: 1. Blair, 2. Daphne!

    Hockey Song: Rob (with whistle)!

Back-ups for concert night (God forbid!):

Hallelujah is no problem, lots of possibilities.

Song for the MiraRoxanne for either part

Where the Coho Flash Silver: 1. Todd, 2. Ellen

Hockey Song: Blair (with back-up whistle?)

Concert order is here on the website: Members Only: Spring Concert Order

Put your binders in order please for next Monday's dress rehearsal.

We didn't manage to rehearse the second sing-along medley. Go to my blog for the list with links to videos of each song. They're not always in the key we're singing them in, but your memories of the melodies will be refreshed.

You'll get a reminder email regarding the dress rehearsal closer to next Monday.

I'll put more detail in the calendar, but it's there. You can copy it to your own Google calendar and set reminders.

If you're feeling worried about your part you can review your music with the recordings here on the website, but have faith that the choir will do its magic. The choir sounds great. Smile, relax, and have fun!

Love theme from St. Elmo's Fire, by David Foster, has a pretty melody that I'm sure you'll recognize. It's a 4-part arrangement, so I need all parts please. This can be a bigger small group. I think we have lots of copies of the music. Sign up as soon as possible, we might start as soon as Feb. 13.

Please check the Events Sign Up page and sign up for one or two of our seniors' home performances.  For those of you new to the Choir, singing with these residents of seniors' homes is one of the most rewarding things we do as members of the Choir. The performances are on Mondays in May and June after our big concert in May between 7 and 8 on our normal rehearsal night (Monday).  Details are on the sign-up page!
